Hey! I just wanted to let everyone know that there will be a Made special on tomorrow at noon. It's like a marathon and in between episodes they talk to the Made kids about their experiences. So if you wanna see Jordan getting interviewed you should definitely watch. It starts at noon and there's like 4 or 5 episodes. I don't know when Jordan's is, but yeah you should watch :) So watch MTV at noon!

Hi! Thought I would make some updates about my life. The job search is going a little better than it has been (then again, how could it not?). And I have an interview with Working America thursday to be a full time activist/canvaser. I think that seems pretty cool because I know it's hard to get a job in your field right away after graduating and at least with this job I'll be working for some causes that I believe in and trying to make life better for a lot of people. The only thing I'm a little nervous about is the hours, it's second shift which means I work from 1:30-10 so that kinda sucks. All in all it seems pretty cool but my parents are giving me a lot of crap about it. They say that it's not a real job and crap like that. ugh. Oh, and I also got a call from Goodwill about a rehabilitation worker job, so I'll have to call them tomorrow when they're open and see what that's all about. I always get nervous at the idea of changing my life, but I know I can adjust and possibly do some good in this world. Wish me luck! |

went to see my counselor today. i'm glad i did because she gave me a lot of helpful advice on what i can do to get into grad school. see, lately i've been feeling really depressed because of all this grad school rejection. feeling like i have no future and i just wasted my time. now it's like, i'm starting to get excited about pursuing other options like taking grad classes on my own and maybe getting a psych job somewhere. i'm trying really hard to pull myself out of this slump and gain the motivation to live another day. here's to an end of emo days! |

everything's been going much better lately. i was kind of depressed because it was just like what am I going to do after I graduate, I'm such a failure! Now I decided to stop being so miserable all the time and try to make some plans. went to the psych job fair at school, hopefully something will come of it. it's scary, but now it's time to move on. |

just got back from new york yesterday. it was really cool! i went there with jordan when he was recording his voice over for made. oh and before i forget, the air date is July 31st 4:30 pm. make sure to watch and see my dorkiness :)
ok, more about new york. we only got to stay two days which kinda sucked because i wanted to stay more. we went to the virgin megastore and rockefeller plaza. the nintendo store was awesome! it was like a store and a little museum of nintendo's history, which was cool for a nerd like me. the next day we wanted to see a matinee of wicked, but it was like 200 dollars a ticket and we had to get back to the studio for more recording. so we ended up going to central park which was very cool. we just walked around exploring.
recording wasn't so bad. mom and i hung out in the lounge with the producer from the show. it was cool to get to catch up w him. the editors were pretty cool. yea i had a great time! |

i had an awesome weekend! it felt good not to sit at home feeling all depressed and avoidant. friday i went to see the libertine...with mom. lol i had no clue what it was about (otherwise i wouldn't have brought her lol). it was an awesome movie. after the movie mom actually went up to the counter to complain lol.
saturday i went to go see the 69 Eyes concert with jordan and one of his friends. it was an amazing show! the opening bands were really cool. program the dead covered "hello, i love you" by the doors :) damone was awesome- their lead singer simply exuded stage prescence. of course, the 69 eyes were awesome. they played all our favorites songs. god, i haven't been to a concert for 3 years before this! isn't that insane? i wanted to go see him when they came this fall but i...i dunno...i think my social anxiety kicked in and i didn't end up going:( anyway, after the concert we went around back to meet the band. on the way, some guy asked us for money. i tried to give him some but jordan wouldn't let me, kept hurrying me, saying it wasn't safe. i felt guilty. anyway, we waited for a half hour during which time i was sure we would be arrested because these other people were trying to climb the stairs and giving the guards a rough time. we met jussi but the bloody camera was out of batteries- camera, you're on notice! he hugged me and signed my cd cover so it was still pretty nice:) oh yeah, i have some pics from the concert behind the cut! my brother took them cuz i have terrible luck with cameras.
